[Coaches] This weekend

I am trying to put the practice schedule together. We have lots of times on
Saturday and a few slots on Sunday. Most practices will be 2.5 hours instead
of 2. We have two teams that are at tournaments-13 Attack on Saturday and 12
Twisters on Sunday. The Super Bowl starts around 6:30 on Sunday. I need a
quick response.

 

We are still trying to do skills sessions. They are poorly attended. Please
encourage your athletes to attend these. Your setters need reps and reps.
They are not turning to the left front when they are setting. They are
telegraphing their sets. The middles are not moving to be out of the way of
the setter and able to still attack. Back row players are not trying to be
aggressive taking the third contact over the net.  We are offering these
skills and we are getting 2-3 girls to attend! 

 

We invested at least $1000 to institute our speed, agility, and quickness
program. You need to implement it into your practices.
