We hope to host several sessions while we take a break from team practices. They do not conflict with practices!
The sessions tonight are on beginning and advanced serving. Beginning serving is for athletes in the 10s to 12s (maybe even some members of our 13s teams) age groups is geared to those that are having trouble with the overhand serve. We will continue to work on that technique and practice the sidearm serve so we can put balls in play aggresively. We will work on the overhand float, jump float, and jump topspin with Erika Scott (14 Hawks Head Coach) in the advanced session.
You do not have to be a member of our teams to attend these. Members of other programs are welcome if they have USAV membership. If you are a part of another program just show is your membership card when you check in. Those that do not have any club affiliation can join us by paying the $67 OVR membership on Sports Engine.
We can also offer private or semi-private lessons if you are interested. Contact Bill Zehler and we can arrange something that suits your needs.
