Courtney Perdue, raised in Massillon, Ohio, has a lifelong passion for volleyball.
From 2011 to 2021, she competed at the highest level in the sport, and served as the setter for the Massillon Washington Tigers from 2017-2021. Having been coached by Coach Raf and Chuck Musselman, Courtney’s career boasts considerable highlights - including captaining her team to a 19-4 record, and broke two school records.
As her high school and travel team careers came to an end, Courtney faced the tough decision of continuing her playing career in college, or becoming a youth coach and focusing on her education. Over the last three years, she has been officiating high school and middle school girls volleyball throughout Ohio.
In addition to working towards a degree in middle childhood education, she earned a provisional certification for officiating in the OVR (Ohio Valley Region). Alongside her career goals in education, Courtney seeks to be an impactful figure for girls and boys both on the court and in the classroom.
