14 Hawks Are Having a Great Season (5/9/11)

The 14 Hawks have had a great season so far; however, we are not done yet. This team has come to every practice ready to work hard. They have never complained about anything. In fact, when we don't have practice during the week, they are asking why not. This hard work has paid off in their tournaments. They have only had 1 tournament where they placed lower than 3rd. They placed 3rd at their very first 14 American tournament back in March at Withrow. They then went on to place 11th out of 36 teams at the very tough 14 and under Blue Grass Pre-Qualifier in Louisville. Following Louisville, they went to Pickerington and won a 16 team 14 American tournament beating some of the top seeded teams in the region along the way. In the month of April, the 14 Hawks finished 2nd in a 15 regional tournament where they lost to a tough 15 year old elevation team. They also took 2nd at the NKJV Aces Challenge which consisted of 25 teams from the national, american, and regional divisions. Just this past weekend, the 14 Hawks placed 3rd at another 15 regional tournament in Columbus. We have 4 practices left to prepare for regionals. This team still feels like they have unfinished business, and are ready to go fight at regionals for the gold!
