Grant Heckmann

grant.heckmann@borderlinevbc.org

Grant has been an assistant coach with Borderline since his freshman year at Miami University in 2011 working with the 15 Hawks team all 3 seasons. He was an all-state right side hitter at his high school in Pennsylvania and has been playing volleyball since 4th grade. Currently Grant stays active in the Miami University volleyball community as a practice player/manager for the Miami Women's Volleyball team, and as the President of the Miami Men's Club Volleyball team.

His exposure to collegiate volleyball has led him to be statistically savvy, and very much aware of opponent tendencies across the net. Grant's players can expect to be trained fundamentally in all skills of the game as well as mentally to become better problem solvers and teammates on the court.

Grant's hobbies include golfing, playing volleyball, road trips, and hatching volleyball coaching theories with fellow Borderline coach Evan Amstutz. His goal is to become a high school head coach after graduation to complement his career in the field of Business Intelligence/Analytics.
