Whitney began playing volleyball in the 6th grade. She played 3 years for Fairfield High School, 2 of which they clinched the GMC championship title. She was a Libero/Defensive Specialist.

She began coaching 4 years ago at Borderline with a 13 Regional team. Then assisted throughout the whole club, and then last year she coached 16 Regional. First year the team clenched Bronze, and last year Silver at the OVR Championship. She coached 2 years at Badin High School as the head coach of Freshmen Team. And this past year she was the head JV coach, and assistant Varsity coach at Monroe High school. Throughout these coaching years all season have ended with a winning record!

Her coaching philosophy follows closely with that of the Borderline mission statement. She believes that fundamentals, consistency, and attitude make a team successful.

She graduated from Miami University in May 2012 with a Bachelor's in Mathematics and Statistics and a minor in Accounting. She now lives in Hamilton with her Corgi, Jolene, and is working as an Assistant Area Manager for JRK Residential group. She looks forward to her 4th year with an outstanding family of coaches at Borderline, and working with the top athletes in the area!
