14 Red Victorious at Withrow (3/12/11)

Borderline 14 Red won an 11-team 15 Regional tournament on Saturday, March 12th, held at Miami University's Withrow Court. 14 Red finished first on their net in pool play after defeating a tough Cincy East VBC team in 3 sets to clinch the #2 seed overall heading into tournament play. In the gold bracket, 14 Red defeated both Westland VBC and Lineshot 14 Black before advancing to the Gold Finals. 14 Red faced a very tough and talented Cincy Classics 15-Silver in the Championship match. But 14 Red's ferocious defense outlasted the Cincy Classics' offense, and 14 Red went on to defeat Cincy Classics 15-Silver in 3 sets to clinch their first tournament victory of the season.
